Hello everyone! It's been such a busy month starting university. I was not warned about the amount of reading I would be doing, or you know, should be doing. It's been going pretty well overall though. I might make a post about living at home if I can think of anything helpful to write.
I decided to try some layering with this outfit. The knitted purple shirt is something I claimed when my mum was cleaning out her wardrobe. It's pretty weather-confused though; it has short sleeves like a t-shirt but it's clearly built for colder weather. So, I threw it over this shirt with cute flower details on the collar and put on a cardigan so it's weather-confused no more!
Some little things from recent times:
- I read The Fault In Our Stars by John Green. I recently subscribed to the Vlogbrothers and after watching some of his videos I decided to trust in his writing skills. I was not disappointed, and yes it did make me cry.
- I helped out at the V&A's Fashion Festival today. I even introduced a speaker and only stumbled over my words about ten times, but I'm still proud of myself for volunteering to do it in the first place. Yay for confidence boosts.
- I watched an amazing cartoon short called Bee and Puppycat which I've embedded in the post. It's a cute story about a girl called Bee who finds takes in a cat/dog called Puppycat, and then of course strange events occur and she finds herself in a different world/dimension/space. Bee pretty much rolls with it though. It's so funny and well worth watching if you have 10 minutes to spare. They're also having a Kickstarter to fund more episodes if anyone's interested!
